Minshuku Yakusugi Sou (民宿やくすぎ荘) – Miyanoura
Minshuku Yakusugi Sou is situated on the banks of the Miyanoura River and is 20 minute or a short drive from the Miyanoura Port. There are 12 rooms within the main building and 2 rooms in a separate building The rooms are Japanese-style and some of the rooms have an attached bathroom. The communal bathroom is available all day except for 1 hour in the late morning (10:00 – 11:00).
There is a terrace to enjoy the views of the river and free Wi-Fi is available.
Minshuku Yakusugi Sou offers a pick-up service from the Miyanoura Port, but this request must be made in advance. There is free parking and nearby there is a bus stop and a supermarket.
The meals at Minshuku Yakusugi Sou are based on Yakushima ingredients including flying fish. For an additional charge meals can be upgraded to include venison and local crab dishes.
The room rate for 2 guests is 8,800 yen including evening meal and breakfast. The room rate for single guests is 9,900 yen including evening meal and breakfast.
