Sen no Ie

Sen no Ie is located along the road that leads to Shiratani Unsuikyo.  The interior of Sen no Ie is worth a look just for the carpentry value.  The owner, Mr Nakashima, made the building (as well as a few others behind the shop and gallery building).  Sen no Ie stock the smaller value items in the front, but if you are a serious buyer then ask to see the items in the back gallery.

Sen no Ie also operate chopstick-making workshops which last for about one hour.  Workshop participation requires advanced booking.
