Minshuku Suimeiso offer homely, budget accommodation in a peaceful riverside setting with all the benefits of being in the heart of Anbo village. Restaurants and shops are within walking distance. The minshuku-style accommodation has 9 rooms ranging in size from a 6 tatami room (2 people) to 17 tatami room – ideal for a family or group . There are 2 western-style rooms. Some rooms have ensuite toilet and balconies. Most rooms have a river view as well as the large shared bathroom.

Suimeiso’s claim to fame is that a past guest was the animation director Miyazaki Hayao – the creator of the Academy Award winning animation Princess Mononoke.  Miyazaki drew some for the owner’s children and they are on display in the entrance lobby.

Suimeiso is within 20 minutes walk of the Anbo Port.  It is about 40 minutes by bus from Miyanoura and 20 minutes from the airport.  The bus stop is just a few minutes walk away.  There is also a free car park for guests. Free broadband access is available in the front lobby.
