Accommodation located in the east of Yakushima have the advantage of being based at a convenient location for access to the island (Anbo Port & Yakushima Airport) as well relatively close to Yakusugi Land & Jomon Sugi. The east and Anbo accommodation are often the choice for visitors without their own transportation. There are numerous shops and restaurants in Anbo.
