Yakushima`s flow of time
Yakushima is first mentioned in the annals of Yakushima history in the 8th century. There is mention of reference to Yakushima in early Chinese texts. However, the island has lengthy periods when it is not mentioned at all. This probably means that the residents were living content and peaceful!
