Stand Up Paddle Board (SUP)
Overview
Stand Up Paddle Board (SUP)
Along with river kayaking, the other popular activity on the Anbo River is stand-up paddle board (SUP). SUP tours operate from May until October. Being inexperienced on a surf board is half the fun of this activity as falling off the board into the river is certainly recommended! The SUP guide will give the guest instruction on how best to stand on the board and balance. The Anbo River is wide and calm, meandering slowly between deep-forested valley walls. It is safe and suitable for beginners. Keep your eyes and ears open and you may well spot monkeys feeding in the canopy close to the river or even sea turtles swimming upstream.
If you’d like to book a SUP guide then contact YES and we’ll be happy to arrange your SUP activity. A half day tour starts from 8,800 yen per person on the Anbo River.
