Payment
How to Pay for YES Tours
YES tours are payable in Cash (Japanese yen only) on the day of the tour.
YES can also accept bank transfers from a Japanese bank. In the case of large group tours then an international bank transfer can be arranged (the guest is liable for all bank charges).
How to Pay for water activities, accommodation and vehicle & hiking gear
YES Yakushima will make a booking on your behalf, but all financial dealings will be dealt with directly between the service provider and customer upon arrival / check-in etc.
YES Yakushima do not take any direct responsibility should the guest encounter dissatisfaction or problems with the requested service. We will make all efforts possible to list services that are reputable and reliable. However, should you meet with any dissatisfaction then please contact YES with details of your issue.
Cancellation Policy
For YES Tours
A cancellation charge will be waivered only if adverse weather prevents the guest from arriving to Yakushima, or adverse weather forces us to cancel the tour. Under all other circumstances if a the guest cancels a tour then cancellation charges apply.

Please inform either YES Yakushima or the business you have booked with as soon as you know that you need to cancel.
YES Yakushima are not responsible for requesting and retrieving hotel cancellation fees. The cancellation fees are set by the individual hotel and establishments. However, we strongly urge people who use our free booking service not to treat this cancellation issue lightly as our reputation as a reliable service with local businesses will be placed in jeopardy once a visitor breaks a contract with one of our listed businesses.
Please honour either the booking or the booking cancellation policy.
If you cancel a booking more than 7 days in advance then most businesses do not take a cancellation charge. However, some businesses operate longer cancellation policy periods.
Cancellation fees are not requested if the cancellation is due to extreme weather such as typhoons preventing transport to the island or causing you to cancel your booked activity.
