Hachimanju Tea Shop

Hachimanju are the oldest tea produces on Yakushima – they began producing tea in 1985. Hachimanju are proud of their organic farming practises producing around five different types of tea including sencha, black tea & houji tea (smoked). One very good reason to visit Hachimanju is that they have a delicous ice cream in two flavors – vanilla and green tea.

.Hachimanju are located about 2km south of the Yakushima Airport on the main road heading towards Anbo.
