Sea Turtle Village
Accommodation located in the north west of Yakushima have the advantage of a beautiful long beach on their doorstep. This area is quiet and ideal for a relaxed getaway. The Inakahama Beach is also the major nesting site for turtles between early May until around late July. On the downside, the north west is far from most hiking trails and river activities and so a vehicle rental would be recommended. Contact YES should you wish to book a vehicle rental.
